• Notification Preferences: Your opt-in/opt-out choices for push notifications.

We never collect sensitive financial information or unnecessary personal data.

2. Google Sign-In & Firebase Services

Master Sathi uses Firebase Authentication with Google Sign-In for secure and convenient access:

• Authentication: Your Google account is used only to verify your identity and maintain your session.
• Data Stored: Your name, email address, and profile picture URL are stored securely in Firestore.
• Firebase Services Used:
  • Firebase Authentication - For secure login management
  • Cloud Firestore - To store your learning progress and test results
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) - For push notifications
  • Firebase Cloud Functions - For payment processing and email notifications
• Data Control: You can revoke Master Sathi's access to your Google account anytime via your Google Account settings.

3. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send important updates:

• Types of Notifications:
  • 📚 New quiz and test notifications
  • 📊 Performance reports and progress updates
  • 🎯 Personalized study reminders
  • 🏆 Achievement and milestone alerts
  • 📢 Important app updates and announcements
• Control & Opt-Out:
  • You will be prompted for notification permission on first launch
  • You can disable notifications anytime via App Settings or Device Settings
  • Opting out does not affect core app functionality
• Data Usage: FCM uses device tokens (non-personal) to route notifications. No personal data is shared with third parties for notifications.

4. Payment Processing (Razorpay)

For premium subscriptions, we use Razorpay as our secure payment gateway:

• Payment Information: All payment processing is handled by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store your card details or UPI credentials.
• Data Shared with Razorpay:
  • Order amount and description
  • Customer name and email (for receipt)
  • Payment timestamp and transaction ID
• Security:
  • 256-bit SSL encryption for all transactions
  • Razorpay is PCI DSS Level 1 certified
  • We only store payment confirmation (not payment details)

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We respect your privacy — we never sell your personal data. Limited sharing occurs only in these cases:

• Service Providers (with strict confidentiality agreements):
  • Google (Firebase services - Authentication, Firestore, FCM)
  • Razorpay (Payment processing)
  • Email service providers (for transactional emails)
• Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Master Sathi and its users.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data remains protected under the same privacy commitments.

• Delete Data: Request account deletion which removes all your personal data from our servers.

We use minimal essential cookies and Firebase Analytics to improve user experience:

10. Children's Privacy

Master Sathi is intended for users aged 13 and above (or as per your country's digital age of consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We retain your data as long as your account is active:

• Active Accounts: Data stored indefinitely for personalized learning.
• Deleted Accounts: All personal data permanently removed within 30 days.
